Road rage may have sparked Burbank shooting

BURBANK, Calif. Police said the incident began on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway at about 4:20 p.m.

The 27-year-old victim said he and the male suspect exited at the Alameda Avenue off-ramp and drove to Flower Street and Ash Avenue where they confronted each other.

The man pulled out a gun and fired several shots. The victim was hit once in the torso, and the victim's vehicle, a gold-colored Mercedes-Benz, was struck multiple times.

The victim was unable to give police a suspect description and could only describe the suspect's vehicle as a late-model van of unknown make.
