Whether it's helping with math or making cupcakes, Walker enjoys when the kids are learning.
"I think it is cool to let them know something new," he said.
Walker is a freshman at Corona Del Mar High School, but to these children, he is an older role model.
"They stand a great percentage higher in being successful, if they have people like David in their lives," said Caryn Kallal, youth development director.
Even at his young age, Walker realizes the importance of giving back in his community.
"You should be serving other people and helping out other people. I think that's what we should be here doing," he said.
