'Skid Row Stabber' conviction overturned

The man convicted in the notorious "Skid Row Stabber" slayings will get a new trial.A federal appeals court overturned the conviction of Bobby Joe Maxwell, ruling his 1984 conviction was based on false testimony.

Maxwell was charged with killing 10 people in the 1970s, but was only convicted of two murders.

That conviction came after Maxwell's cellmate testified he confessed. That cellmate was found to be a habitual liar.
