Lawsuit seeks to stop sale of OC Fairgrounds

December 11, 2010 12:00:00 AM PST
A new lawsuit has been filed in an effort to stop the sale of the Orange County Fairgrounds.

The suit is asking for an injunction to stop the state from selling the 150 acres in Costa Mesa.

The sale to Facilities Management West had already been put on hold by a judge, who granted a temporary restraining order in a different lawsuit.

Assemblyman Jose Solorio is part of the new suit. He and the other plaintiffs say there are still too many unanswered questions about the property and the deal.
