Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is undergoing surgery Friday morning to have her right leg amputated. The procedure at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is expected to last about an hour

The 93-year-old actress injured the leg about two months ago in a fall, and it soon became infected. Her husband, Prince von Anhalt , said gangrene set into her limb.

In July, Gabor fell out of bed and broke her hip. She underwent hip replacement surgery and was sent home about a month later. She has been hospitalized several times ever since her surgery.

Doctors said they will address the media in the afternoon to discuss the operation and how the actress is doing.
