2 injured in plane crash in Big Bear City

BIG BEAR CITY, Calif.

The /*Federal Aviation Administration*/ said a twin-engine Piper Comanche crashed into the home just after 7 a.m. Sunday.

That pilot was taken to the hospital and the person in the house received minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. The plane's registered owner is Tower General Contractors Inc.

The plane crashed shortly after it took off from Big Bear Airport. Authorities said the plane struck the roof of the house, which was located on a street next to the airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board is heading up the investigation.
