Humperdink serenades Gabor on 94th birthday

February 6, 2011 12:00:00 AM PST
Zsa Zsa Gabor was resting at home Sunday night after a daylong celebration of her 94th birthday.

Her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt had a birthday cake waiting for Gabor when she arrived home from the hospital earlier in the day after being treated for pneumonia.

Last month, she had part of her leg amputated.

Gabor is said to be doing well.

Gabor also got a birthday surprise at the hospital Sunday morning.

"We had about 10 doctors and 15 nurses coming in, all together 25 people standing around her bed," von Anhalt said. "She looked at them and said 'Oh, what do you want, am I dying or what?' And the doctors said no, and all of a sudden everybody started singing happy birthday to you and she smiled all over."

A private birthday party was held for Gabor at her Bel Air home.

Among the guests were singer Englebert Humperdink, who serenaded her.
