Ralphs Grocery Co. has been ordered to pay nearly $68,000 in fines for overcharging its customers.

A judge also put the company on three years probation.

Earlier this month, Ralphs pleaded no contest to 62 charges of overcharging shoppers for pre-packaged and weighed items in the Los Angeles area.

The company was also charged with false advertising and mislabeling items.

A Ralphs spokesperson said the company is redoubling its efforts to ensure accuracy.
