They welcomed Martin Dudamel into the world Friday night at Cedars-Sinai hospital. He weighed in at 6 pounds 13ounces.
The birth is the first for the couple who married about 5 years ago and lives in Beachwood Canyon.
Dudamel will be back in front of the orchestra May 5 at the Walt Disney Music Hall to perform music by Brahms.
