The LAPD reported an engine chip light came on inside helicopter, so the pilot made a precautionary landing in a soccer field near the southwest corner of the USC's Memorial Coliseum.
The same helicopter made a precautionary landing earlier in the week due to the same engine light.
A mechanic was summoned to the Exposition Park location Wednesday to service the aircraft.
