Suspects sought in Santa Ana store robberies

SANTA ANA, Calif.

Ho's Market, located at 421 E. McFadden in Santa Ana, was robbed at knifepoint on June 8. The suspect was described as a male Hispanic between 25 and 30 years old, standing about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a medium build, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black sandals. He has a tattoo or a birthmark on his neck above his right shoulder.

On June 26, two suspects robbed Ho's Market with a tire iron and a handgun. The clerk was struck repeatedly on the head with the tire iron. The two suspects took money and fled.

The tire-iron-wielding suspect was described as a male Hispanic between 20 and 25 years old, wearing a dark sweatshirt, light-colored hood, dark mask and white tennis shoes.

The suspect with a gun was described as a male Hispanic between 20 and 25 years old, wearing a red sweatshirt, dark pants and a black mask.

The suspects are likely not the same in both crimes, according to the Santa Ana Police Dept.
