Authorities say the pursuit began just before 10 a.m. A police helicopter spotted the car in the Hollywood Hills, and police gave chase down the 101 Freeway and along surface streets.
The chase ended shortly after it began when the suspect crashed the red sedan near Willis Avenue and Hortense Street.
Officers found gloves and a large screen TV in the backseat of the vehicle.
