The silver is worth about $19 million. Crews expect to recover the sunken treasure next spring.
The discovery was made while recovery operations were under way for another sunken ship off the Irish coast.
The British ship sunk on Feb. 9, 1917 after being torpedoed by German submarine U-81 during World War I.
