The school was locked down shortly before noon. Police did not reveal the nature of the threat.
At about 2:30 p.m., authorities said students were being released to the football field for dismissal. Students who walk or drive were dismissed toward the Duarte Road side of the high school.
Campus Drive was closed due to the investigation but was reopened shortly after 4 p.m.
