San Diego's 'Gumby Bandit' pleads guilty to burglary

SAN DIEGO

Jacob Kiss, 19, and his accomplice both pleaded guilty and have been placed on three years' probation.

The men entered a San Diego convenience store in September.

The clerk says the Gumby character claimed to have a gun.

But Kiss says the clerk misunderstood him.

Both men surrendered to police days later.
