Beach Boys reunite for tour, new album

LOS ANGELES

Original Beach Boys members Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine, along with two other early members of the group, David Marks and Bruce Johnston, are reuniting for a global tour and a new album.

To celebrate the band's 50th anniversary, they'll kick off a 50-city tour at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in April.

Other dates have not yet been announced.

Wilson last toured with the band he co-founded in 1965. The band has continued in various incarnations over the years.

This same group of men got together in 2006 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their album "Pet Sounds."
