As part of its special day, riders will only pay one penny to ride what's dubbed the "shortest railway in the world."
The railway operates between 6:45 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The 298-foot line connects Hill Street near the Metro Red Line Pershing Square Station to California Plaza on Grand Avenue.
