The historic Angels Flight railway in downtown Los Angeles marked its 110th anniversary on Saturday.

As part of its special day, riders will only pay one penny to ride what's dubbed the "shortest railway in the world."

The railway operates between 6:45 a.m. and 10 p.m.

The 298-foot line connects Hill Street near the Metro Red Line Pershing Square Station to California Plaza on Grand Avenue.
