They fed Colobus monkeys hot potatoes to help keep them warm. The monkeys apparently really liked them.
The meerkats were given special heating lamps. They're native to the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa.
But one group didn't have trouble with the cold weather at all. The zoo's penguins are enjoying the below-freezing temperatures.
