The incident happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday along the 3000 block of South Rocky Lane. The girl says a man in a gray truck began following her and then sped up when she ran away. He managed to grab her, but she broke free.
The man's truck is described as a 2008 or 2009 gray Dodge pickup.
