The /*Food and Drug Administration*/ warned consumers about the online version purporting to be 30-milligram tablets of /*Adderall*/. The ingredients of the phony product include tramadol and acetaminophen, which are pain drugs.
The counterfeit tablets are round and white, while genuine Adderall tablets are an orange/peach color. Adderall tablets are also marked with the letters "dp" and a number 30 on opposing sides. The counterfeit white tablets have no markings.
Adderall is in short supply due to shortages of its active ingredients. Adderall is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. The drug is used to treat narcolepsy and ADHD.
