Investigators say the man stole the women's purses and then fled in a getaway van. It happened back in May near Hill Street and Olympic Boulevard.
A surveillance camera captured the man's picture when he stopped to fill up the teal colored van police think was used during the robberies.
The suspect was wearing a towel around his neck, possibly to cover his tattoos.
