The fire was reported around 8 a.m. near Bluff Street and Dorianna Lane.
Working with the U.S. Forest Service, the Riverside County Fire Department was able to quickly contain the blaze by 10:30 a.m., according to Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.
There are no reports of injuries at this time. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
