'Tiger Bandit' linked to 5 SoCal bank heists

The search is on for a suspected bank robber dubbed the "Tiger Bandit," who has been linked to six Southern California bank robberies.

Most recently, the robber held up a U.S. Bank branch at 2270 Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita Friday morning. He has also been linked to five other robberies at banks in Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey and Cerritos.

Investigators say the robber wears a Detroit Tigers cap, demands cash in various denominations and makes a quick escape. Authorities say there may be two men working together.
