Long Beach temple vandalism suspect sought

LONG BEACH, Calif.

The incident, which occurred on Jan. 7, was caught on tape. The footage shows a man approaching the Temple Israel and throwing a brick, which struck a double-pane window at the front of the building.

It was the second incident in the past few months. In November, anti-Semitic graffiti was painted on a wall of the temple.

Police described the suspect as a white or Hispanic male about 20-30 years old, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing 170-175 pounds. He was seen wearing light colored cargo or basketball-style shorts, a long-sleeve light colored jacket with a dark collar, a white T-shirt and dark colored sandals.

Anyone with information is urged to call Long Beach police at (562) 570-7250.
