Two leopards gave birth on the same day, March 26. All three cubs are doing well and are being hand-raised by the zoo's animal care staff.
Clouded leopards are endangered because of deforestation, poaching and the illegal pet trade. "Cloud" refers to their soft-edge spots, which are part of their natural camouflage.
In all, 18 clouded leopards have been born at the Nashville Zoo's breeding facility since 2009.
