Actress Halle Berry 'expecting' to continue work while pregnant

LOS ANGELES

"It's a miraculous thing when you think about it, and then at our age it's an even more miraculous thing," said Berry.

This will be the 46-year-old Oscar winner's first child with her fiance, actor Olivier Martinez. And as excited as they are over the news, Berry's 5-year-old daughter, Nahla (dad is model Gabriel Aubry), is even more thrilled.

"She has been praying for a baby sister. Who knows what she's going to get, but she's been praying for a baby sister," said Berry. "So a baby of any sort will just make her through the roof. She really wants to be a big sister."

Berry is in Brazil this week promoting her latest movie, "The Call." She hopes to continue juggling both motherhood and movies.

"My dream now is much more realistic especially as I sit here with another baby in belly," said Berry. "I want to be a mother and have my career at the same time and I've been told my whole life, 'You can't have it all at once.' The dream for me now is to have a career that I'm proud of, that I feel good about and still have time for my children, and be a mom too."

Next month, Berry will return for the seventh time as host of the 20th annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles.
