The stabbing took place outside the Tattle Tale Bar located on the 5400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard around 12:40 a.m.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man with a stocky build, between 30 and 40 years old, standing around six feet tall with short brown hair and a mustache.
He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt and dark baggy pants.
