Stolen trailer for sale online leads to guns, drugs bust in Cabazon

CABAZON, RIVERSIDE COUNTY

The woman contacted the Riverside County Sheriff's Cabazon Station on Friday to report that she had found her stolen trailer on Craigslist, the department said. The woman arranged to meet with the seller at his residence on the 52000 block of Date Avenue in Cabazon to supposedly purchase the stolen trailer.

Cabazon investigators and deputies contacted David Foster, 25, and Kimberly Tierce, 42, at the residence at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. The stolen trailer was being repainted by Foster in the driveway. The victim identified the trailer and several items that were stolen with the trailer, the department said.

During a search of the property, investigators discovered more than 30 firearms, ammunition, several pounds of marijuana and the remnants of a methamphetamine laboratory, according to the department.

Foster was arrested for possession of stolen property, felon with a firearm, conspiracy and violation of probation. Tierce was arrested for possession of stolen property and conspiracy. The investigation was ongoing.
