North Hollywood shooting leaves man dead

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.

The shooting occurred at Tujunga Avenue and Kittridge Street near Fair Avenue Elementary School.

Witnesses reported hearing shots fired around 12:45 a.m., according to Sgt. Larry Poehls of the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station.

Responding officers found a man, possibly in his 50s, laying on the street.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has been withheld pending notification of kin.

So far, no suspects have been identified.
