Officers responded to a call about a home invasion at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 31000 block of Illinois Street. A woman had entered the female victim's home through the back door and verbally threatened her before taking property from the home, the victim told police.
The suspect then took the victim's car keys and stole a Gray Toyota Scion with the license plate 5YVA516. A man waiting outside followed the suspect in a black BMW with dealer paper plates.
