CHP officer rescues Chihuahua from interstate

FRESNO, Calif.

A California Highway Patrol officer rescued the little dog from Interstate 680 in Contra Costa County on Friday. The pup somehow ended up on top of the median.

The Chihuahua is now being cared for at the Animal Services shelter in Martinez.
