Man stabbed at South Los Angeles liquor store

ATHENS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Violence broke out at a liquor store in the Athens neighborhood of South Los Angeles Tuesday night, prompting a search for a suspect.

Los Angeles sheriff's deputies found a man stabbed at the Liquorland at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Vermont Avenue. He was treated in the parking lot and loaded into an ambulance.

No suspect or motive information was available.
