Big rig carrying 40 tons of sand crashes on 405 Freeway

MISSION HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A big rig carrying 40 tons of sand and another car collided on the southbound 405 Freeway in Mission Hills Monday morning.

The accident was reported at 5:20 a.m. on the freeway at Devonshire Street. Two right lanes were temporarily closed in response.

No injuries were reported.
