LAPD investigating body found at Echo Park Lake

ECHO PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are investigating the discovery of a body at Echo Park Lake.

A police officer on foot patrol near the park was flagged down around 4 p.m. on a report of a body in the water.

Police and fire officials responded and pulled a male adult body out of the water.

It was not immediately known if the cause of death was accidental or homicide.
