Woman found dead in yard of Brentwood residence

BRENTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An investigation was underway Monday afternoon after a 90-year-old woman was found dead in the yard of her home in Brentwood, police said.

A gardener made the discovery in the 11500 block of W. Sunset Boulevard at about 10:40 a.m.

The investigation, which is being led by the Los Angeles Police Department's West L.A. Division, was initially being treated as a homicide, but is now being treated as an undetermined death.
