Steak, shrimp, and love: Inside Bubba's Tacos

ONTARIO, Calif. -- He's been called "your favorite taco man's favorite taco man." Inland Empire's Bubba Ihmud of 'Bubba's Tacos' grew up around So Cal taco trucks operated by his late father and uncle. It was there where his love of Mexican food blossomed.

"My parents are both from Palestine. My dad started working with my uncle running taco trucks," Ihmud told Localish. "It's just the love of the food. "I grew up around Latin people, and Latin food, and I just started cooking. I know how to cook Latin food more than I can cook Arab food."

Ihmud flaunts a deep menu of Mexican dishes, but he is particularly proud of his 'Surf N' Turf' taco. It's a crisped corn tortilla filled with steak, shrimp, onions, cilantro, topped with homemade salsa, chipotle sauce, and of course - love.

"Everything is made out of love," says Ihmud.

"There's a lot of love in his tacos," says Elizabeth Soria of Rialto. "All his food that he does, there's a lot of love."

You can find Bubba's Tacos weekdays at Omni Deli in Ontario, every Tuesday night at Firewater Bar in Ontario, and he is available for catering.
