Crews set fire to mobile home filled with explosives

CATHERDRAL CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- Firefighters intentionally burned down a mobile home filled with explosives in Cathedral City on Friday.

The explosives were discovered earlier this week when a woman asked police to check on her father's mobile home, saying her brother was "acting delusional."

A search turned up explosives. Officials decided the safest way to get rid of the items was to evacuate neighbors and set a controlled burn.

The woman's brother was arrested.
