Ontario police, community groups turn out to support Spark of Love

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- ABC7's Spark of Love toy drive was underway in Ontario Monday, offering the community a chance to help brighten the holidays for local kids in need.

Attendees can also donate to help the victims of the Thomas Fire still burning in Ventura County.

Officers from the Ontario Police Department turned out to show their support. "We do it for the kids. We do it for the community," one officer said.

Other organizations that have been collecting toys all year long were in attendance, urging others to come out and donate to children who are in need.
