Two comedic actors join forces for the new movie "An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn."
Aubrey Plaza and Craig Robinson star in the strangely relatable comedy that tells the story of Lulu, a woman trying to escape her boring marriage.
When a man from her past mysteriously re-surfaces, she takes it as the perfect opportunity to flee.
"I think a lot of men and women are in unhappy marriages and fantasize about escaping and going back to the love of their life from 10 years ago," said Plaza. "I like playing characters that are complicated and that have a lot going on. It's more interesting for me."
Robinson plays Beverly Luff Linn, a magician who communicates by simply groaning.
"Of course it's gonna be something that I've never done before, so I was looking forward to the challenge of conveying what the character is saying through groaning." said Robinson.
The actors gave their own pitch to convince moviegoers why they should seek out their film.
"'An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn' for one magical night only, is a movie about a love triangle with too many sides," said Plaza.
Added Robinson: "And it shows that love never dies."
