Oversight panel launches investigation into alleged 'deputy gangs' in LA County Sheriff's Department

The Los Angeles County Civilian Oversight Commission announced it will undertake a "full-scale investigation'' into alleged deputy gangs operating within the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
