ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- "Live with Kelly and Michael" is back in Southern California!
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan are hosting from Disneyland this week to celebrate the Anaheim theme park's 60th anniversary.
Ripa says the special episodes will be totally different than their typical show out of New York City.
"It presents a lot of challenges for our producers, because they're dealing with outside elements that we don't even think about to make the show seamless," Ripa said. "We love it, because we get to experience people outside of the studio audience, go on the rides (and) be a part of something that is so magical like Disneyland is."
Singer Christina Aguilera was a guest on Monday's show. Jimmy Kimmel and Scott Foley from "Scandal" will appear on Tuesday's show. Mariah Carey and Patricia Heaton were also scheduled to appear.
"We've got a lot of characters, a lot of great taped pieces," executive producer Michael Gelman said. "We're roaming all over the park, so I think you won't be disappointed."
Gelman added that this week's will give viewers at glimpse into the future, including what to expect with some new evening spectaculars.
"We're happy to be here for the 60th," Strahan said. "This is special for everybody involved with our show to be here to celebrate."
Disneyland's Diamond Celebration kicks off Friday with a 24-hour event.
