Obese Ohio dachshund gets tummy tuck

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A once-obese Ohio dachshund has lost more than half its weight through diet and surgery, according to ABC6 in Ohio.

'Dennis' the dog weighed 56 pounds until he was put on a diet, but then his stretched stomach dragged on the ground.

So his owner had veterinarians perform the surgery on the pooch, who now weighs a svelte 13 pounds!

His owner has cut out table food and most treats, which led to the dramatic loss.
