DOVER, Del. -- Police in Dover, Delaware arrested a man after they allegedly found cocaine in his prosthetic leg during a traffic stop.
The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. Monday in the area of McKee Road, South of College Road.
Marlow Holmes, 39, was a passenger inside a Chevrolet Tahoe involved in a traffic stop.
Authorities said police dogs alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.
After a search of the front seat passenger, police said Holmes was found to be in possession of 28.7 grams of cocaine, hidden in his prosthetic leg.
Police say Holmes faces charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was jailed, with bond set at $81,000.
Police say they kept the drugs as evidence but returned Holmes' leg.
