EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men that burglarized a home in El Segundo Friday.
Between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., items worth thousands of dollars were taken from the residence in the 900 block of McCarthy Court, according to the El Segundo Police Department.
Authorities said the suspects, described as two black males between 18 and 20 years old wearing multi-colored jerseys, entered the house through an open window in the backyard.
The suspects were seen quickly walking away from the front door of the house heading north on McCarthy Court, carrying bags containing unknown objects.
Shortly before 1 p.m. the same day, ESPD received the call of a suspicious vehicle driving around slowly in the residential area. The vehicle was described as a black or dark green Toyota Solara with paper license plates. The car was occupied by two male black adults.
It was not yet known whether both incidents were related.
Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to contact Sergeant Vince Martinez at (310) 524-2261.
