'Expendables 3' packs a heavyweight punch

More than a few Hollywood heavyweights are blowing up trains, tanks and whatever else gets in their way in the new action flick, "The Expendables 3."

"It's like getting beaten to a pulp and still liking it, you know what I mean? It's weird," said Sylvester Stallone, who wrote and starred in the movie.

The first two "Expendables" movies earned more than $540 million in their worldwide releases, so it's no surprise that familiar faces from the first two films, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Terry Crews, were happy to get back together.

"I feel so honored to be a part of a trilogy. Oh my God! Do you know how rare that is in this town to get to three movies without wearing spandex? That's hard!" Crews said.

There's also new "old" blood here.

Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Antonio Banderas were also added to the macho mix.

"You get a chance to work with some of the best of the best. They invite you to come and play on the field, and they tell you at the same time, we going for a championship, championship ring, so this is my World Cup right here," Snipes said.

"It was almost like being invited to be a part of the Hollywood Hall of Fame of action heroes," Banderas said.

With so much testosterone on display, was there a clash of egos on "The Expendables 3" set?

"We are all out there to have fun, and to make each other look good and that's what I really liked about everybody. There's none of the big ego stuff going on. It really is a generous experience," Gibson said.

"The Expendables 3" is in theaters now.
