KABC

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Time to see L.A. from a new perspective and get active with Parkour, sailing, horseback riding and anti-gravity yoga. Then we'll show you where to hit the zip lines and where you can race cars. For the less adventurous, there's an indoor trampoline park, indoor rock climbing and indoor skydiving. And we save the big action for last in the two-man Revo Evolution aircraft and Super Motocross!

TEMPEST FREERUNNING ACADEMY - PARKOUR

You may not see Parkour or freerunning on ESPN anytime soon, but the sport is catching on! We visited the Tempest Freerunning Academy in Chatsworth, an obstacle course and training facility where you can learn the basic running, jumping, flipping and flying skills of Parkour to the advanced maneuvers and tricks of freerunning.

BLUE PACIFIC BOATING - SAILING INSTRUCTION

Eye on L.A. took in a sailing lesson with Blue Pacific Boating and spent the day cruising the Santa Monica Bay. Blue Pacific Boating offers private and group sailing lessons, charters, and they also sell boats. Eye on L.A.'s Tina Malave discovered you don't have to be rich to charter a boat for an all day adventure on the ocean, taking in the fun, the sun and our amazing sea life, from dolphins and whales, to lots and lots of sea lions!

SUNSET RANCH - HORSE BACK RIDING

In the middle of the Hollywood Hills and high above Los Angeles, you'll find Sunset Ranch. A ranch for horse-lovers and riders that boasts beautiful riding trails and views, so Eye on L.A. had to check this out! Each ride comes with your very own cowboy or cowgirl guide, and most rides include views of the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign. Once our riding adventure wrapped-up, Eye on L.A. would have to agree with Sunset Ranch -- this place is worth visiting, especially for a little bit of serenity surrounded by nature. http://www.sunsetranchhollywood.com/

ANTI-GRAVITY YOGA

Created by world-renowned gymnast Christopher Harrison, AntiGravity is a fitness fusion. It incorporates yoga elements with gymnastics and aerial arts. You'll feel your muscles lengthen and tone as you are benefiting from zero-compression inversion. Aerial yoga will also release stress, tension and leave you feeling completely relaxed.

CATALINA ZIP LINE ECO TOUR- ZIPLINING

If blasting in the air hundreds of feet above ground at 45 mph is your thing - then "Catalina Zip Line Eco Tour" is the place for you! Eye on L.A. went on this high "flying" adventure, plus we took it up a notch with zip lining after dark too! "Catalina's Zip Line" offers five different amazing runs, with the longest being 1,045-feet long - all surrounded by green paradise and the chance to see wildlife, such as deer and eagles!

VENTURA RACEWAY - MIDGET & SPRINT CAR RACING

We discovered the perfect way to unleash some of that road rage and put the pedal to the medal at the Ventura Raceway! Professional race car driver Cory Kruseman teaches us what it takes to get behind the wheel of a Sprint Car or Ford Focus Midget.

SKYZONE TRAMPOLINE PARK

What may have been a childhood dream can be a reality now and can get you in shape. At the SkyZone Trampoline park there is 40,000 square feet of space to jump. But don't expect to just jump in one place for an hour and not feel anything. After 60 minutes of spinning, twisting, and squatting in their Sky Burn class, you'll burn 1,000 calories. http://www.skyzone.com/

HANGAR 18 INDOOR CLIMBING GYM - ROCKWALL CLIMBING

Hangar 18 is one of Southern California's best indoor climbing gyms with more than 10,000 feet of textured terrain and "caves" for the more advanced climbers. But Hangar 18 is also for beginners including children, or for those who want to try indoor rock climbing just for fun! http://www.climbhangar18.com/

iFLY HOLLYWOOD - INDOOR SKYDIVING

iFLY Hollywood indoor skydiving at Universal Studios CityWalk gave Eye on L.A. quite the adrenaline rush as we experienced human body flight! Indoor Skydiving at iFLY Hollywood is safe for kids, challenging for adults, exciting for teens and realistic for skydivers. No experience is necessary, and it's great fun for ages three and up.
