"Eye on L.A." host Tina Malave paid a visit to a couple of Los Angeles-area businesses and artisans whose locally-made products are causing quite a buzz like the Terranea Resort and Greenbar Collective Distillery!
Terranea Resort
Terranea, the seaside resort in Rancho Palos Verdes takes the "farm to table" concept to a whole new level, utilizing the ocean in their backyard to harvest their own flavored sea salts and employing over 35 thousand busy little workers to make some of the best tasting honey in SoCal!
Greenbar Collective Distillery
Greenbar Collective Distillery is L.A.'s first distillery since prohibition. In fact, they make the largest line of organic spirits in the world in their 14,000-square-foot facility in downtown L.A.'s Arts District.

MADE IN L.A. GIFTS
There's no other city in the world like L.A., so who wouldn't love to receive a "Made in L.A." gift? And we found the perfect places to find some at a place called the L.A. County Store where they also have amazing Morning Glory Artisan Brittle, and at the Downtown Women's Center of Los Angeles!
LA County Store
"Eye on L.A." made a surprising discovery in a Silver Lake strip mall, the Los Angeles County Store, where the phrase "one-of-a-kind" covers everything, including the store itself. It's the only store that's exclusively dedicated to locally made fine goods, with a strict policy about only allowing things that are made right in Los Angeles County.
Morning Glory Artisan Brittle
If you're interested in tasting a mouthwatering, contemporary style of brittle, look no further than Morning Glory Artisan Brittle. The unique flavors like Chocolate Bourbon and Pecan, Fleur de Sel and Peanut, Thai Peanut, and New Mexico Chili and Pepita, blend sweet and salty to such perfection they've gotten the attention of many, including the domestic queen herself, Martha Stewart.

Made by DWC
The Downtown Women's Center of Los Angeles wanted to do more than just help the homeless and low income women of skid row, they wanted to empower them. And in doing so, they've nurtured some incredible artisans! Today, their line of hand crafted products called "Made by DWC" are sold in two of the organizations resale shops downtown, in Bloomingdales, and at Hudson News shops at LAX, and all the proceeds go directly to services designed to help the women reclaim a happy and healthy life for themselves.
