Man gives free hugs at RNC and DNC to bring unity

Ken Nwadike hopes to bring unity and goodwill by traveling across the country to rallies, protests and conventions to give free hugs.

Nwadike began his free hug campaign three years ago. This year he traveled to both the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

As a black man, Nwadike hopes to break negative stereotypes and bring people together.

"I'm here to bring peace," Nwadike told PopSugar. "I'm here to spread love and break up fights."
