LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Ellen DeGeneres returns as the forgetful fish, Dory, in this summer's "Finding Dory." The widely anticipated sequel comes 13 years after its successful predecessor, "Finding Nemo."
The film's debut is looking to bring in upwards of $115 million. Some famous voices such as Ed O'Neill, Ty Burrell, Idris Elba and Dominic West are introduced through new characters in the film.
This weekend, two sequels are landing in theaters: "The Conjuring 2" and "Now You See Me 2."
"Independence Day: Resurgence" will be released right before the Fourth of July, and with the election this year, "The Purge: Election Year" will also hit the big screen.
Three more sequels, "Ice Age: Collision Course," "Star Trek: Beyond," and "Jason Bourne" will round out the sequel-packed summer.
