Woman films close encounter with Florida panther during nature walk

NAPLES, Fla. (KABC) -- A Florida woman experienced a rare and terrifying sight while she went for a nature walk Monday morning.

Tina Dorschel, of Naples, Florida, was walking through Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary when she saw a panther running right next to her.

Officials at the sanctuary said panthers are typically shy creatures and Dorschel's encounter was a lucky and rare experience.
